"Zespół skierował się w stronę mroczniejszego, bardziej klimatycznego grania. Ci, którzy pamiętają takie utwory jak "Colourless", czy "Hypocrite" mogą być zaskoczeni słysząc otwierający "Words", w którym melodie schowane są pod warstwą brudnych gitar, wokal dociera jakby trochę z tyłu, a plemienna perkusja miarowo wybija hipnotyczny rytm. W "Dipstick" dominują kontrasty pomiędzy mocnymi gitarami, a wyciszonym cantem, przynajmniej do czasu, aż wszystko eksploduje w refrenie. Muzyka grupy nadal jest gitarowa, tyle że do grunge'owych naleciałości wkrada się coraz więcej alternatywnych brzmień. Ewolucję muzyczną najwyraźniej słychać na przykładzie "Can't Escape", w którym Root penetruje ścieżkę wytyczoną przez utwór "Fluid", nurzając się w nastrojowym, emocjonalnym, trochę progresywnym graniu."

This guy said somethink like this: "Overdrives and all this noise with hunted vocal is somethink, that you'll like. In my life I heard many, so many albums, even this strange and weird. Proposition of "Root - Amorphia" is good enough if only band will improve depth of their compositions and will add more heart and "warm" into this, what they are doing". And I just can't agree with him, this album is very good and you just must listen to it ;) It's just a pity, that there are only 5 tracks onto it, I'm looking forward for the next one ;)

I don't know what the above guy who rated this album a 5/10 is talking about. I don't speak Polish, so I can't read his written review, but I don't need to. This album is an 8 minimum.
"Can't escape" bumps it up to a nine. You don't get diesel prog. / grunge / math rock like this on an everyday basis.
Root n'invente rien, ne fait aucune innovation, n'influencera jamais la scène rock.
Ca n'empêche que leur musique, même si elle n'est pas innovante, reste fabuleuse !!!

Du Rock à la fois chaud et décidé, bon tout au long, avec un par moment une petie odeur "Pink floyd" (6ème morceau). Les guitares assurent bien.

cool stuff guys, sounds a bit like tool for the drum and bass and seethers for the voice, vith a bit of alternative/postrock influences, all I love great !
