A very interesting atmosphere is created, a bit like the quiet before the storm. The middle track portrays the 'storm' in all it's gory glory, at least in my mind. The apparent distance created, also inculcates an everyday quality to what is going on in my imagination. Then, finally the aftermath. Again the perceived distance, not effectively making much difference in the ambience of the first track, although it is quantitively different. Lovely little album that enables me to hear between the sounds.
