As has been said elsewhere, most definitely not background or 'happy-go-lucky' dancing sounds. The detail is exquisite and through its construction very impressive. If it does not command your attention, the effect is missed totally. If it does, it becomes a very interesting listening experience. Superbly done! Great noise to be put in my head, slots in nicely.

Another reviewer says this is "sound for nightmares". I'm inclined to agree with him, though the "nightmare" for me is just a metaphor, and I like this album very much. These nine songs here are basically so dark that you will find it hard to dance to this album. If you want to dance with a smile on your face, there are a lot of good music for that purpose other than this album on jamendo. If you want to hear something compelling, inner-ward music, this is it. This is a beautifully constructed electric soundscape, rather than soundtrack: this music cannot be a back-ground piece. You've got to pay attention to what you hear second after second. Ambient, avant-garde, experimental, harsh-noise, minimal, and whatsoever. For instance, One more day (track 1) starts with minimal beats, followed by clear synth melodies with harsher noise backtrack. Distorted electric guitar (or something: I'm not a musician so please forgive my inaccuracy) plays a beautiful melody somewhere in the distance. Different sounds and beats are beautifully merged into one song. Stroke (track 3) - this song reminds me of No New York influenced Japanese avant-garde music in the 1980s, and yet it is very original - sounds like more conventional "experimental" music (oxymoron) at first, and you'll find yourself listening to a avant-garde electric funky tune, and then, slightly cheesy fusion pop. Scaffold for everyone (track 4: what a song title) is a happier, guitar-driven piece with piano, but as wicked as a song can be. Nervous break-up (track 6) and Bridge (track 7) are the most rock 'n' roll on this album - I'd like to hear them on Steve Albini fan radio. Thank you for sharing. Keep up the good work. すばらしいアルバム。実にいろいろな音が入っていて展開が早く(そうとは聞こえないかもしれないけれども)、全体が流れるように進んでいきます。
