je suis un inconditionnel de 'flight school ' que j'ecoute en boucle depuis un mois, ici on à le même style avec 'the envious dead'. J'adore la limpidité,la resonnance des sons la perfection des melodies ...C'est pour moi un exemple en composition et mon prochain album en est dèjas largement inspiré.

Une pureté de son, une variété proposant un genre différent à chaque morceau, peut être un manque de morceau un peu plus dynamiques, mais quelle maitrise...!!! Remerciements pour ce nouvel Album de qualité comme d'hab... :-) (Merci Spisfire pour l'info)

The envious dead..made me think of Egyptians...when they got buried in their pyramids and tombs..and they took with them everything of value and substantial or personnel meaning to them..from even their own slaves that where still alive to even ...food and riches and luxurious and furniture and statues and so on..and buried them with them..for the afterlife...that was ironic..as they did belief..greatly in that.. And people did envy them..as they though..it did happen..and they would be reborn and come alive again..and scarifies themselves for their great and noble leaders and powerful Egyptian rulers.. the music gave off a delight calming and graceful affect...that was also quite regal and church like..and holy sounding...and had a therapeutic state on the listener..and also made you feel the enormity and greatness of going to death for these people..back then..but it was worth it for the after life...

Merci à Spisfire pour l'invitation, ta musique est vraiment superbe et envoutante. J'aime beaucoup l'utilisation des sons avec leur sustain particulier et ces mélodies étranges qui se mélangent avec un rythme qui s'installe en douceur. Bravo!

Typically wonderful

Cet album est certainement encore perfectible, mais j'y trouve l'essentiel : une belle inspiration et une très belle sensibilité. Tout est juste et judicieusement bien posé, sans prétention et avec audace Bravo et merci

This is a great album! I believe it will take some time to grow onto one. However after that it really is a beautiful experience. I love your style. In this album I found 'Lost Kids' to be my favorite. Nothing really to complain about here. Keep up the good work!

Compliments on the beautiful album cover . . . it pops out at the eyes and the title makes the potential listener curious. I sigh as I listen to the music it drifts around the room like sweet smelling smoke, slowly and gently, removing heaviness and bitterness and replacing with the calm of a sunset and the dark and the night, like a blanket, soon to be . . . o0o

Relevé au fil de différentes critiques: pureté, construction, cohérence. Brokenkites produit une musique carrée, épurée et réfléchie qui s'apparente presque à un style à part entière. Chaque morceau réserve son lot de trouvailles sonores séduisantes mais sans jamais parvenir à marquer réellement. J'ai l'impression que tout les disques de Brokenkites se ressemblent un peu et qu'il serait difficile de caractériser un de ses albums d'une façon particulière. Finalement, Brokenkites serait plus une image de marque, la garantie assurée d'une certaine perfection acoustique.
