Where do the musical lines of "The Glass Spider" infuse themselves?
In the cut amount from rock, punk and Gothic stands a small space in which "The Glass Spider" finds enough place to spread out, and even crossing over and over again new borders. To say, "The Glass Spider" is rock, is too easy - to say, it's punk, absolutely wrong. And to state, it could be Gothic, a dead end.
And still: these three musical corner pillars are forming the foundation on which "The Glass Spider" stands. Often it was also maintained "The Glass Spider" sounds like Sisters of Mercy, Nick Cave or The 69Eyes. And if these comparisons are also flattering, it still doesn't meet the point to describe what happens there musically.
Though "The Glass Spider" from Hamm exists only since October 2007, however, already in the beginning of 2008 appeared the first demo "Lost in the Dark". And already there was to be recognised in which direction the project will smash. Now with "Resistance" the first EP is published, already clearly matured reaches in the full and with 7 strong pieces knows how to be convincing. Intensification receives "The Glass Spider" on their EP from musicians like Markus Schmitt, Axel Zabel and Fullkey who have contributed their parts for each a song.

Please stay courteous and be sincere (for good and bad!). It can be an interesting read for others, but only if it is constructive and doesn't disparage the artist.
Please write about the music itself and don't be too hard on the sound quality of some demos.
