This is an outstanding album. I have been listening to it as I do some computer chores and have been at peace with the world because of this music even though the world outside is stormy and gray with thunder and lightning and all. Loved the jazzy temperament of "trois fevrier"'s really upbeat interplay between the strings, piano, and other instruments. That song stands out as a winner in my heart. Did you write and compose that one? I think I want to download it to play in the school's hallways (where I work). Boy - this stuff is good! Another favorite was the peppy "sept fevrier" with its exquisite high stepping, uplifting, and thoughtful passion. I think I'll download all these songs and share them with the children. They could use a little enlightenment. As I listen to this album over again I note that those fingers are flying over the keys with fluidity, understanding, and love. I believe that Renald de Matrexasse has a master's ear when it comes to piano arrangements and instrumental classical music.
