About this album

  • Updated: 24/04/2009

Very dramatic, bombastic, melodic industrial with noise elements.

"The Sun Still Shines" is shoegaze.

"Drifting" and "-" are ambient.

I found that "A Cure For Perfection" didn't fit into the album as a whole but I didn't want it to go to waste and kept it as a bonus track.

Constructive feedback is appreciated. Whatever your opinion, I would like it if you posted specific reasons for it so that I may improve in future releases.

A brilliant debut by the Wizard of Oz, Uzumaki. A thrilling soundscape of intelligent and beautiful ideas strung together into one huge panorama of techno madness. Nothing repeats itself as this stream of consciousness music unfolds in what could be described as improvised composition. At times almost too bombastic, yet it remains restrained enough to come down on the right side. Although it exudes the proverbial teenage angst its technical proficiency is mature and masterful. No compromises, the only way to make great music.

i like all of it, the sounds the instruments. it really has a different feel to it than most of the music i hear. the cover is awesome, i like the name and its smart too. i would have given it 10/10 but the sound is kinda distorted in some parts, for Example The Sun Still Shines (my favourite) theres something distorted in the background, it sounds good, but it kinda lets the song down for me. maybe a volume reduction could fix this. Anyway i likes it. Good job
