I'm new to Jamendo, and this is the first album I've found and listened to more than once. I can listen to "Last of the Vipers" all day! I also really enjoy "Like Magic" and "The Last Singing Cowboy". I was less fond of the bouncy "Love and Romance Game". The helpless damsel-in-distress story in "Sheik" didn't really do it for me either, but those are the only two songs I took off my playlist--everything else is good to great. Most of the music in this collection is kind of old-timey country/folk... kind of like what you could imagine The Mamas and The Papas might have been like if they'd been recording 20 years earlier in Nashville. There are definitely other influences in some of the songs as well, like "My Revelation". The lyrics are clever and often downright funny. The instruments and vocals all work very well together for a clean, coherent, very pleasant sound. Overall, I highly recommend this CD/collection and I'll be watching for more work from this band.

It's a shame, how still so many people, only stop staring at their own bellies when a mirror, is at their front.

I can understand that not everybody has the ability to write poems or compose and sing love songs to show their love or appreciation. That not everyone has the capacity of writing intricate considerations or speeches to explain or justify their public attitudes, but... simple words are always sufficient when felt. I love you, instead of a poem is sufficient, I'm delighted, can be as good as a song, if truly expresses our gratitude and serves publicly as a pleasant thank you... how hard can it be? Now, can somebody explain why 143 people, downloaded so far, this precious and delightful album release and only two had the gentleness to express some appreciation... well... I love you, I'm delighted and very grateful for your generosity, therefore... thank you. Now if you don't mind, I'll proceed, by initiating my download.
