Blues at home nasce a Milano nel 2008 nel giorno della Festa del 1 Maggio. Mentre nelle piazze delle grandi città d’Italia infuocavano i concerti in omaggio ai lavoratori di tutti il mondo, io me ne stavo solo a casa, col blues dentro, e con un piccolo registratore digitale con cui ho inciso tutti i brani improvvisando su basi e assoli.

I brani, tutti strumentali, descrivono in blue note la mia vita sui treni senza sosta, da una città all’altra, sempre in attesa di tornare a casa, a sud. I dialoghi col mio cane, con mia madre, con l’infelice donna amata, sono una musica che deve essere espressa, liberata, consolata.

Blues at home in Milan was born in 2008 on the day of the Feast of May 1. While in the squares of the great cities of Italy fiery concert in tribute to the workers all over the world, I was just me at home, with blues inside me, and with a small digital recorder, I recorded all the songs and improvising on the basis and solos. The tracks are all instrumental, blue notes describe my life on trains relentlessly, from one city to another, always waiting to go home, to the South. The dialogues with my dog, with my mother, with the unfortunate woman loved, is a music that must be expressed, released, consoled.
