Why particularly "notfrench" techno? Nationalism aside (this not being the subject matter really), if this is the epitome of Italian techno (not something I could honestly vouchsafe), it does differ from what little I know of the differences of techno music and its apparently necessary 'place' of origination, and I do not to profess to being anything other than an impartial listener. Zodio present an eclectic mix of instruments and influences, and produce a very interesting and engaging expression in sound. Perhaps the sheer amount of work available is a testimony to success in terms of avid listeners, perhaps not? However, I really like the diversity of construction and presentation of this particular artiste, if you are willing to accept this, then I thoroughly recommend Zodio, and obviously, this album in particular. (I think I need to do my homework and listen to it all first?) However, I will endeavour to show appreciation to an artiste who is obviously prolific and serious about what they are producing. This isn't just techno, it's music that uses technology to enhance what we had before it, voice, instrument, technology blended skilfully together. There are some who rely on technology to compensate for their consumate lack of skill and/or imagination, but I think I see here a talented musician who uses technology as a tool, not a saving grace. That is not to infer that sole use of technology cannot be moulded and shaped with skill, it's a particularly favourite genre of mine. I grew up listening to Tangerine Dream when they were building their own equipment! But this stuff is blended well and has a good consistency.

De très bonnes compositions d'un artiste talentueux. On sent une certaine maitrise. Album très original, mélageant l'électronique à des rythmes saccadés. Plein de sonorités originales. Bravo. Je m'en vais écouter les autres.
