About this album

  • Updated: 22/05/2009

'Go Back to Russia, Sucka' is the brainchild of six young bucks from the bowels of Texas. Not satisfied with the same old songs they were force-fed on the radio --or the too-cute, overly-ironic emotionless stuff you find online-- the Crazy Ivans recorded five songs dripping with all of the beauty and emotion you'd expect from a true Rock album.

The EP's tracks range from punk rock ('Frequency') to piano rock ('Can't Go Home') to thrash metal ('Wail of the Banshee') and back again. 'Go Back to Russia, Sucka' sounds a little like a punk Boston or Queen, with heavy bluesy Janis Joplin-esque vocals from lead singer Kristen Lueken.
