(SINGLE) Viola devriendrait-il le nouveau groupe phare de Jamendo ? c'est tout le mal que je leur souhaite :)

#12 this weekNobodylovers
This track started out sounding like Viola trying to cover Hey Ya by Outkast. As a few times before, the initial punch of creativity was fueled by a cool Microkorg-preset that just felt kinda right. After dialing in the initial beat, everything just pretty much fell into place piece by piece.
I have no clue where the lyrics came from. Riku is always a mystery to me in that department. Seriously, a couple of lovers that met at a fairground, died and continue to reunite annually at the fairground...Where do these things come from? Kudos for using phrases like "coconut shy" and "goldfish prize" in a contemporary pop lyric, though.
But if you feel this is an awkward direction for us to take, you can take comfort in the fact that next month will be something completely different again!
If you love or hate the track, please leave some comments. We'd really love to know what you think of it. Thanks!

Please stay courteous and be sincere (for good and bad!). It can be an interesting read for others, but only if it is constructive and doesn't disparage the artist.
Please write about the music itself and don't be too hard on the sound quality of some demos.
