The idea is good; some kind of progressive mixture, but the Songs cut off after less than 2 minutes. Very disorted.

well you have to read H.P. Lovecraft's myths to understand what is beneath the CTHULU name... I also respect the fact that the artist wishes to give us a sample of each song, nothing wrong there either. however, would have been better off with one or two full songs instead. overall, very eclectic and interesting. I really like it but is not for the faint of mind. I did like tracks five and six, they were plain cool. will have to go back and hear everything tonite again. good job...

These are colourful snippets of avant-garde experimentation, drawing on a wide variety of musical sources, such as Indonesian gamelan, fuzz-distorted guitar and techno. Very enjoyable.

Algunos temas estan muy buenos, otros si son algo cargados.

Je ne peut pas dire 'cela se laisse écouter', tout va tellement vite, que l'on a pas le temps de saisir une atmosphère qu'une autre la remplace. Cela pourrait ressembler à du Zappa, mais on en est loin. Il y a pourtant des trouvailles à la pelle, mais souvent pas développées. On a l'impression que Canoplygames s'en contente sans avoir envie de les utiliser pour construire de vrais morceaux. Dommage.

You have some good ideas for this album, but you didn´t made it really perfect. some songs are just to short and semeed like they are not ready. Other songs had two genres in itself, but they are bad put together. But why do i give just 2 stars? "Cthulhucore" (The Name is Awesome ^^) is a short experimental Album. The Album feels like a puzzle with no picture. Some parts are added here and there, but in some cases, it don't make an obvious sense. maybe this is, what the artist want, but it down't make fun! I don't enjoy "Cthulhucore". "Same Name", "Look in" are probably the best songs. "Look in" because of the claustrophobic Atmosphere, "Same Name" because the parts sounds great. "Too Quicky", the largest song is ok, too. But again, the parts doen't fit together. "Senseless"? Oh yes!

Ce n'est pas un deux bobines du lointain 1909 mais de toute façon on peut l'inscrire à l'Opera Comique, en premier lieu parce que c'est un divertissement de la part de son auteur, qui traduit en musique fidelèment, en sa musique un noir qui pour tous ceux qui l'ont lu est claire il a lu entièrement; puis parce que cette mise en musique d'un auteur au quel meme les écrivains americains du genre tournent leur épaules, avec la permission de leur éditeurs, reconnaissant aujourd'hui le peu de merit litteraire qu'il a, contrariement à le texte original, est bien ècrite et peut marcher sur ses jambes. Bien sur, n'importe qui peut lire n'importe quoi mais, dis-je, pourqui s'appuyer à la para-litterature étrangère d'infime qualité quand Poushkine et Gogol peuvent fournir une choix des contes de l'horreur de la prémiére qualité, pour taire des écrivains français à la mode du meme siecle?
