Dès l'introduction, on est plongé dans un univers bizarre, inquiétant et d'une incroyable beauté. Un monde sonore qui me fait penser aux court-métrages fabuleux de Jan Svankmajer. Si vous ne connaissez pas ce monstre du cinéma d'animation, jetez un œil ici (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LuBwXfg3Mr4&feature=related). Je retrouve dans la musique de Scabeater, ce surréalisme troublant, ce mélange de merveilleux et d'inattendu profondément dérangeant, au sein duquel se dévoile des mystères obscurs d'une étrangeté tétanisante. j'aime l'économie de moyen qui aboutit à ces atmosphères imparables ainsi que l'enchainement impeccable des titres. Ce papillon d'or est d'une perfection magistrale.

I think this album is very suggestive, but the tags are definitely wrong, I think it should be tagged as "horror" and "soundtrack". From my point of view, that is what it is: a horror soundtrack. And a very scary and atmospheric one, at that! Don't expect an album in a traditional sense, let yourselves go and create the film images in your head. Once you realize that that peculiar sound is actually the butterfly's wings flapping, you'll be amazed at how effective it is :) It's an excellent work!

... ein durchaus interessantes Klangerlebniss. Denn diese Klänge in der herkömmlichen Form als Musik zu bezeichnen trifft es in diesem Fall nicht so ganz, was aber keinesfalls negativ gemeint ist. Auch ich kann mir dieses Album gut im Bereich Sound- oder Gamemusik vorstellen. Weiter oben wurde das fehlen einer durchgängigen Melodie bemängelt. Meiner Meinung nach würde eine solche in diesem Album eher störend wirken und die Stimmung dieses Albums verfälschen ... Zusammengefasst: Ein Klangerlebniss der düsteren Art, welches aber durchaus hörbar und Interessant ist...

les sons et les rythmes ce transphorme en images trés bien visualisé avec des bruits d'insectes sur eclosion, pour le reste l'album est trés dark et inspiré.

Dieses Album ist schwierig zu bewerten! Ich will es mal so sagen: Ich befinde mich auf jeden Fall in einer dunklen Höhle mit kalten Wänden.Obwohl ich ein wenig Sonne von mir hereinlassen möchte gefällt mir das Album und deine Musik! Ein Klangerlebnis mit enormer Klangvielfalt. Klang...ist das richtige Wort. Sicherlich und ganz bestimmt nicht jedermanns Sache.Doch meine positive Meinung hast du!

A écouter dans le noir complet avec pour seul lumière une bougie.Pas mal comme type de musique expérimentale.Son bien travaillé,l'artiste connait bien son matériel qu'il utilise. Bon sang,je me suis cru en Transylvanie avec le conte Dracula ( Ha! Ha! Ha!) Bravo pour cet album de qualité.

First of all, I love the butterfly!~ The track is great background music. I'm not generally in to this kind, but I like the beginning very much. Nice drumming throughout the rest:)
