From one track to the next, I imagine reaching the next level in a (good old) video game. Some tracks sound like level intros, others like "final Boss fight". I enjoy this album as it really sounds "8bit", and I'm just eager to play an old video game full of sprites and big pixels !!! Last but not least : compared to other "8bit music" albums heard on Jamendo, I feel this one sounds better (tough to explain :-/ ) 8bit sounds are sometimes harsh, but in this album, all tracks sound smooth, and are enjoyable, even while listening with earphones. ========================================= D'un morceau à l'autre, je m'imagine passer au niveau suivant, ou à un autre (bon vieux) jeu tellement l'ambiance est différente. Il y a des morceaux qui sont plutôt des intros de niveaux, d'autres plutôt des musiques de Boss de fin de niveau. Cet album, c'est du bon son 8 bits. Il ne reste plus qu'à créer un jeu en 2D avec des sprites et des pixels de partout !! Au niveau technique, certains sons dans des morceaux/albums de musique "8bit" entendus ici, sur Jamendo, ont un rendu un peu "agressif" qui est parfois un peu désagréable (histoire de matériel ? mixage ? ... ?) Sur cet album, tous les sons sonnent "rond", "gentiment vintage", ce qui rend l'ensemble très agréable :-)

Well,.. as if this album is older than the to other, i thing that those melodies have somtething so special... For sure, each songs sounds differents with other chip's instrument and ambient, but the result are excellent, catchi and pops ! love it !

By the way... that sound give me some reminds... Blues brothers is not the last, I heard them in many tracks. Seriously, I just can not understand how guys can think this is not a nice music. I am not so old, not reached the 26 years old, but that music give me my memories of when I was a little child and allow me to imagine... NEW GAMES!!! Yes, not only remember old ones... I would like to be able to do some graphics to come on that kind of music. Games ideas should follow... Old style games, which were hard (when possible) to finish. But I am not lucky, I am not able to create story or graphics. Well... Not so unlucky, because I discovered you today. Thanks a lot.

I love the variety of styles compiled inside this retro nostalgia album. Sounds fresh and familiar at the same time.
