Me gusta lo que hacen y suena muy bien. Se nota la influencia de Cobain, evidentemente, pero no me parece más que eso: influencia. Esta banda es mejor que muchas bandas grunge de discográfica que andan en la vuelta. Saludos

While I’m not a specialist of the genre that this album mostly represents, I dare to say something about it. Inmyth’s aesthetics is strictly indie-rock/grunge, and so it is dissimilar in tone from most of today’s favorite music. The title refers to myths the singer feels to have him inside; get more information, lyrics, etc. from the web. The title track and the last one, “Tree”, resemble a little bit with Nirvana’s In Utero, which is not the bad thing: it is just fine that there are still bands that cleave to the tradition of grunge. With these echoes, it is important to notice that Inmyths is genuine and sticks out from the mainstream grunge. Inmyths seems dark, but passionate and it is performed with softer guitar playing than perhaps most bands from Seattle and the Sub Pop-era. There is no bright “hit” over other tunes but the contribution is in its entirety very convincing. Some might say this album would be better with some more alternation of tempo and perhaps some extra tricks, and I am inclined to agree with that. If you enjoy Kurt-like phrasing (without bawling) and/or some serious personal concerns (cf. Mark Lanegan), get this album: you won’t be disappointed.

Only thing I kept thinking about since listening to "Inmyths" track was Heart-Shaped Box. Sorry guys, you have no talent to do it like the Nirvana, although you may try organizing a 5$ gig in your town, you may earn some money for beer and such.

A lot of good work done! Great guitars, great vocal! With a better sound production it would be even more fantastic! "The Name Is Not Important" is my favourite!
