I view this album as a coffee shop listen. The simplicity of the songs and the vocals remind me of someone just getting their start who you might find playing in the local city hangout. the sound of applause which follows after every song makes it seem even more like a show and as the hands clap together i cant help but picture pheobe off of friends sitting atop a stool giggling and thanking the crowd. overall the songs seem short and choppy but I think I really listen to it just for the recollection of one of my favorite shows.Any music that can put an image of friends into my mind at 5:00 in the morning is ok by me.
