I really enjoyed this album, I'm surprised more people haven't commented. There are some extremely good songs here. I really appreciate this music. My favorite song is "etang," "contremps" and the one with the really long title. :) Although, all the songs are good, those are my favs. I'm really disappointed that you haven't recorded any more music. I wish you would. :(

the versatility of the solo piano personified

Let me say straight off that my download of this album does not appear to be perfect. Certain tracks appear to be repeated (5 & 6) and one track, I think "duel" does not exist. That said, I will do my best with the rest. I remember reading once about the versatility of the piano when used in conjunction with other instruments. In solo form it is much more restricted and this album is a perfect illustrator of that fact. Some tracks, such as 1 and 4 for example, work really well. The piano is playing to its strengths and is well within its capabilities. Start to push the boundaries a bit and the cracks appear and with no other instruments to hide a bit behind they don't come across well. Tracks 2 and 3 are just two examples. There is plenty of different musical styling contained here and what works well is really excellent stuff. Variety is not always the spice of solo piano life however, just ask Einaudi. Thanks for some great tracks though.

I really enjoyed this album. It is very easy to listen to and repays frequent listening as each time I listen I hear something new. Robbe has a lovely touch on the keys of the piano.

I just can´t understand why there are no more comments and just that less downloads. It was just a coincidence to find this album and i have been listing to this lovely piece of music for 3 days now. I just can´t get enough. Especialy track 2 is my favorite. It´s that kind of music you have to listen twice to love it, but that´s always the best. If there where a cd to buy, i would pay for! Thanks for this! Can we hear more from you!? Björn
