From KT Tunstall to Alexandra Burke. A shareware musical tribute to Jade Goody

Was Jade Goody real? Or Mel from Big Brother 1 sneekily discuised, who was obviously pretending to be Mel Appleby. Who seemed to be pretending to be Tammi Terrell. Whatever. Better drop some antipsychotics. Still I liked that great music, however manufactured, and Big Brother was a pretty good TV idea too.

In fact it's exactly like a mental hospital, but with crapper celebs. Peter Bruff hospital had Jesus and Elvis, and The Lakes had Jesus and Freddy Mercury. And I had a beard and a thought I was Jesus to, so we had a spirtual war and almost a phsyical scrap over who was the Real McCoy. Still better than being Harry Potter, and even that was progress over Dracula. It's not really a good place for Dracula, the community!..

Everything on TV has always been bollocks anyway. Perhaps it was the one almost out of Girls Aloud who was pissed off by the rigged phone-lines and wanted to make a point.

I don’t think it really matters if Jade was real or just a made up character by TV producers. There will have been girls like Jade , likely without the fame or money.

I think people related to Jade , like Diana , because everyone would , love or hate them, know a real Jade Goody- not perfect , perfectly human. I like humans, I think we all do..

It’s sad to think that still today some newspapers still treat ladies who’ve not yet found the right guy and have bruises to prove it as scrounging criminal low-life. This sucks, help Jade change that. A lot of the people who are called chav scum are actually really nice folk who sometimes love their family and friends even more than middle class people.

I liked the way Jade showed the courage to overcome racism and petty small-mindedness, which let’s face it anyone bombarded by tabloid crap is going to pick up if not well educated, travelled or otherwise experienced. I loved the way she really wanted to put things right and open herself up to new possibilities and beliefs. And make friends. That’s inspirational.

My sister Liz had a cancer scare around the same time and she looks a lot like Jade (or Javine with a suntan), happily that turned out to be a false alarm, and Andy and Family would like to express our thanks to those who have prayed for and supported this lovely lady!

This project is devoted to the much maligned Essex Girl , In any Essex Man’s opinion (even me who was actually born in Suffolk) the best women on the planet.
