About this album

  • Updated: 12/04/2007

Moogboy -Robert Eugene Stafford - This is the second electronic solo album by this Canadian musician who takes samples and distorts them beyond recognition to produce something entirely new. Robert has studied piano, classical / flamenco guitar and Electronic Music Technology. Moogboy is a  tribute album to various musicians who have been distorted in honor. It is a chill out after midnight music CD that contains reggae, techno, jazz, and ambient electronic mutations.

I think your music is a varied mix of genres: from funk to reggae (track 8) to pure electronica, and I like it very much! Sound and mixing are great...certainly a work to be proud of. I personally like "Amanisland" and the sweet "Song to Kitaro". Thank you.
