Soundspill is the very first full-length album from the eclectic imaginations of Macadamia. Featuring some wonderfully experimental production spanning many different musical genres, we think you will find this LP a suitable accompaniment to being trapped inside a sugar-coated fairytale with only a magic whistle for company.
As the sound waves sweep over you, do not be afraid to journey deeper and deeper into the cavernous bubblegum exteriors of the sound dungeons and ride the staves of the Soundspill to audial enlightenment. Start your adventure by pressing play.

One of the most instantly striking things about this album is the cover. The music while quite good, and a little repetitive is great, I just love the album cover. I liked the song titles, although sometimes the music to a certain title didn't deliver what I would have imagined from reading the title.
While skipping through some of the songs, I was very pleasantly surprised to find "On a rocket back home" This is the kind of spacey electronic music that I love to chill out too. Then as if that wasn't enough, Hollow Tree delivers a very refreshing vocal track and nylon stringed guitar, although the guitar sounded sampled, Sample Tank comes to mind, it was still a wonderful way to end the album.
For best results I highly recommend listening to the following:
-Midnight Reprise
-On A Sky Rocket Back Home
-Hollow Tree
This is a good album, it sounds good and the tracks are quite interesting (I appreciate Gentle touch).
The only thing I don't like is its repetitiveness. But, hey, that's chillout electronica...I guess.
Some pretty groovy tunes there Macadamia. I think you have something going for yourself. I really like the GorillaPox bit. It was a little repetitive toward the end, but I could say that was my fav. Shell out some more beats for us to listen to.
The beginning uses a too "typical" Live sound (I have Live too) but the rest is very good. It make me think of Lemon Jelly. I like the sounds and the mix. Perhaps a little bit too "rigid" or "computerized", maybe some hand playing would give a human feeling, Anyway a good album.
A very good electro album makes softness and of melancholy. All is joined together there for the pleasure: sounds, melodies, rates/rhythms. Environment is favourable with the relaxation, one listens agreeably until the end and one would like that that continues. A very beautiful voice in "Gorillapox" which gives even more beauty to this album which deserves all our attention.
