The album "Play This At My Funeral" is an exercise in simplicity. Each of the 12 songs was recorded in a single take and consists solely of acoustic guitar and vocals. This, in effect, creates the feeling of listening to a live solo acoustic performance.

It is hard to write a good guitar/vocals album, but Hello Citizen has done just that. I am not crazy about the lyrics on every song, but the sound is great, as is the album cover. It reminds me of something Pink Floyd would make if they would not have imploded. Definitely worth checking out.

While the self titled album is good, this is in my opinion the best Hello Citizen album so far. Sometimes it makes you giggle and sometimes it makes you gasp in horror at what it made you giggle at. The tunes are catchy and I cant stop listening to it! One of my favorite albums easily.
There was a definite improvement from your first album to this one. I like the accoustic sound and it has an enjoyable pace. Good job and keep up the good work

this record is awesome very dark and very cool the guitar sounds great and bullet meets brain is a great song
