No co-editors/engineers, no external references, nobody to convince me to cut my tracks to "reasonable" length this time.
"The Lights Side Wins" is a rather introverted piece of work - almost a musical diary. Written and arranged mostly on a single laptop and on the road in Germany and Portugal between June and August 2009, "TLSW" was finally mixed down and mastered in September with Ableton 8, Acoustica Pro, an aged but very reliable Roland Line Mixer and a couple of outboard effects.
While "Far From The Sun" and "Freezer" are more or less the results of "one-night-stands" - each track written in the course of a spontaneous, uninterrupted creative streak, "Lisbon", "The Light Side Wins" and most of all "One Man Movement" evolved from fragments made for live performance. The structural elements of "Lisbon" actually were recorded live on a performance in Nürnberg/Germany, using some patterns I had written some weeks ago, lying in the sun on a very, very relaxed party, deep in the bavarian woods and finally turned into a "real track" at the C-Base in Berlin.
Enough said,
I hope you'll enjoy it

Please stay courteous and be sincere (for good and bad!). It can be an interesting read for others, but only if it is constructive and doesn't disparage the artist.
Please write about the music itself and don't be too hard on the sound quality of some demos.
