Parts 1-13 - Ambient atmosphere, relax, drift away, dream, fall asleep til your cd player falls on the floor and your ears hurt from the earbuds. (My first experience with this album.) (My second experience)(I'm awake here) Very enjoyable music. Many layers and depth to this instrumental, ambient, new age music. All the parts just flowed together - a music most kind to the spirit after a hard day or during meditation or prayer. It had a slight Eastern flavor on occasion. Part 4 was slightly more dramatic with the drums and flutes, subtle but ensnaring you up that mountain, and the wind sounds up there, blowing through your ears. Very relaxing. (again I'm having trouble staying awake.) Part 5 has that yearning sound that makes your heart ache, lovely, lonely, reaching, mysterious. Part 7 - a little more lilt with some nice guitar strumming and vocal, leading to bird song on part 8. It is much like a climb up a mountain - refreshingly so. Part 12 forces you to sleep with its flat tone straight across - you may as well lay down. Part 13 - Heaven with choir, not euphoric but relaxing. All burdens are laid down. Very enjoyable to listen to while awake or asleep. I loved it. I think it was well thought out and presented as a journey. The music is beautifully created and presented from the album cover to the quality of the sound.

A thoughtful album which allows the listener to follow at his /her own pace, it gathers you and offers succour when feeling tired then embraces your body with injections of punctured rythmic boldness. With nuturing harmonies floating and looping around your ears it is at times a very peaceful collection but not in the way that some artists leave create bland ambient tunes making you wish for something to come along and wake you up. I love the sleeve design, simple black and white graphics does the the album a great deal of credit Once again SoLaRiS has come up with the goods showing why he is probably one of the most popular artists on Jamendo and keeping me wanting more

You say "One long continous journey to take you where the music travels to" and thats exactly right. This is really good and definitive something to have on my Ipod. Beatiful soundscaping and atmospheric sound. I have my favorites - and must mention Part 1, 3, 5, 7 and 13. Treasure On The Mountain deserves highest grade. And a + to have all songs float so well together and at the same time stands on it's own. A big thumbs up!
