"This album's tracks were originally composed by Fonogeri for a computer game, a 3D fantasy-strategy project managed under the hands of Imre Fazekas. Imre is a talented programmer from Debrecen, Hungary, his RPG's title was "Witer - Helm of mind". Although the project was unfinished (but Imre made a very-very nice and professional demo version of the game and even published some screenshots and vids), the tracks were lying on Fonogeri's computer and nobody listened to them since 2006. So he wondered what if he'd release them out to the public, maybe there are some fellows who liked e.g. the TV series 7th Heaven and that sort of stories, and know what a real fable is...

One of the scenes in Witer was Meadowland, which is a quite green land with forests, plain fields and flowers, such as the dry-continental landscape of the inner Carpathian Basin. These tracks were composed by Fonogeri for the Meadowland scene, some tunes were played up by Katalin Batta with a midi keyboard. He modified the tracks' names for the more "fableous" piece of art.

Unce upon a time...."

Extremely well-produced soft harmonic music. Mby not what I listnen to normally - realy belongs in a nice context such as a film/movie or something - but truly well done!

Fantastic Fantasy

Has a fairy tale-ish feel to it which transports the listener into medieval times or a fairy land, or a fantasy story. The tracks have a nice progression to them presenting the fable sequentially, which was nice for the listener. Bells, flutes, drums, lutes, light and flighty made "Meadowland" a nicely sweet intro to this album. "Young Knight" was really excellent with a medieval dance in the castle - perhaps to say good-by during a feast. Loved the big drums in that one. "Mission of Evil Omen" had some great bells and electronic vocals - very ominous. Perhaps the wise men were warning them against their mission. "Assemblage in the Castle" was a grande song, with suitable majesty and glory. "Cart Journey of the Princess" seemed rather sad and pensive. "Playing in the garden" is a lightly frolicking piece, with a nice piano, and other instruments. It had that certain glittering lilt that is used in medieval music and with a gentle tempo. And "Lonely Hero" with the simple piano, the solemness of the instruments and the clopping of the horse trotting into the mists - and a dejected hero - but with a tiny ray of hope. I really love this album. Whenever I wish to write a fairy tale or some other type of fantasy I can listen to this and garner a story from this fabulously designed album. The music on this album was very melodic and it was a huge pleasure to listen to all the tracks. It would be great in a film or game but I know what I'm going to use it for - just great listening - and fantasizing!

This is a different story. A story of legends. A story of ancient places and medieval sounds. A story of goblins and fairies. A story of dream. And it is wonderful - for listen and keep in mind and soul. Not just an album for a computer game, but an album for your spirit. Thanks for sharing! :)

Gefühlvolle neu-mittelalterliche Fantasy. "Cart Jouney of the Princess" ist wegen seinem Aufbau und Melodie mein Favorit. Trommel-, Flöten-, Schellen-, Saitenspiel in perfekter Harmonie, was den Geist besänftigt. Morrowind und 'Fable' sind nur ein paar Rollenspiele, an das dieses Album erinnert. Fonogeri, Danke für fast 25 Minuten gute Unterhaltung! =)
