Downlouders is not a band, it's a musical experiment whose purpose is to bring musicians coming from different genres and experiences to produce a record in a short period of time, living togheter in a common space for that period. The first episode of this forthcoming saga is "Haustillio", the first album by Downlouders. It was created in summer 2009 after a 3 days improvisation session that took place in a secluded farmhouse in Tuscany, Italy. Haustillio was concepted, composed, played, recorded and mixed by a 5 elements combo in 8 days with drums, bass guitar, 2 electric guitars, fender rhodes electric piano, syntesizer and voices. It was recorded on a digital portable multitrack, and played live. Downlouders are published by indipendent label Terra Desolata.

The first song on this album was funny until I realized they were just saying the same thing over and over again to the same chords played over and over again. This album would be a good recommendation for someone who is boring. I also think that communists might enjoy this music. I don't know anybody else would would write a song about a tractor.
