About this album

  • Updated: 03/05/2007

This album was kind of an experimental in 1997. It was never released until now. Some of you have maybe heard the Enharmon in some of my gigs. Once again, thanks to Al Cabaro being with me in these studio sessions as a mental help and co-drinker. And thanks to all my friends for just being there all the time.

Please sit down in a peacful corner, take a deep breath, relax and press play.

Gracias.

This ambient album is really impressive from a technical perspective. Everything is smooth and fitting with the overall texture of the sounds. As with all ambient it's subtle and down to individual listeners as to how they conceive such a musically-abnormal genre. If you like ambient, and not necessarily ambient that sounds natural (usually like a jungle) then this album is perfect. A well done to Ben Akusto for the quality of his music.

It flows quiet and relaxing, lightly hypnotic...with an opportune, little bit of darkness. I can’t skip or stop during the entire (two) listening(s). Very involving…. It reminds me some works of the masters Brian Eno and Harold Budd, worked out again with a fresh touch of personality. Very, very good

Really great album. I recommend it to every fan of the darker side of ambient. I also recommend it to people who think ambient is boring. It sometimes happen - with bad ambient albums. But this one is definitely an ambient album and it's not boring even for one second. Boring ambient is just bad ambient.
