Was für ein Openingtrack! Monoton, böse, fernab von jedem Standart, driftet immer mehr in Noise ab, hypnotisch, paralysierend. Die Idee wird beim zweiten Track gleich nochmals verwendet, blos is die Monotonie und der Lärm da schon wieder beruhigend, um nicht zu sagen schön. Track drei klingt wie ein geistesgestöhrter Computer kurz vor der Selbstzerstöhrung, nachher kommt ein freakiger Jazzdrummer der selbst in der Notaufnahme nicht aufhören kann seine schrägen Rythmen zz klopfen. Im Nächsten Track klopfen die Poltergeister an ein Fenster während es draussen regnet, danach wird eine Gitarrenbalade gespielt, während im Hintergrund ein Ventilator um Gnade winselt - also kontrast kommen wir nachher in die Industrialhölle wo riesige Maschinen defekte Cyborgs kaputtretten, wir lauschen dann etwas Sternenmusik auf einer verlassenen Raumstation um zuguterletzt noch etwas chilligen Club geniessen zu können. Fazit: die SCheibe ist Abwechslunsgreich, richtig schöner Industrial der nicht dummes Technoides Gestampfe ist mit aufgeblasenen Snyths - die Sounds sind durchs Band interessant und werden langsam aber stetig moduliert. Das hier ist kein Album für jedermann, aber wer die eine oder andere neue Idee braucht kann sich hier recht gut inspirieren lassen...

I listened to some of Alvarsovys records and I still dunno why. I hate his constantly repeating of the same parts. But he has always some catchy melodies that starts a movie in my head. Mechanical World and Failing World are such songs. On his latest release he works a lot with intros and outos. By suprise, Toxic Feeling contains his most epic track, a true masterpiece. Thats some creppy "Elusiv Monster", I'm serious. The songs comes that slow and spread his dirty wings. Very epic. What follows after? The title Track is the optional screwed guitar track, contained on any of Alvis Albums. Relaxing with a video tape effect. Until the tape runs out... Permanent Pain is the ideal sound for a Klitschko punchline. Cold Aurora is another 80s synthie-pop song crystal meth'ed. It's not my kind of 80s Synthie-Pop crystal meth'ed. Track4 is boring. Like living next to a Highway for years. The cars (beats) pass by and you just don't care. You went deaf by hearing it all day. The Elusive Monster runs the Album alone. In fact, it runs Alvis whole libary on it's own. But the french dude fucked up one thing. The shity mixing. Compaered to earlier albums like "last transmission" and the roundest project "I see the End"... Toxic is too load. I recognized it on my MP3 Player. Read the wikipedia article about the "Loudness War", than maybe you understand to ceep it quiet, but ceep it up.
