aLiVE in 2005 is a live album, recorded in 2005.

The material on this release was initially not meant to be released, so it has gathered virtual dust in the dark recesses of our digital archives for years. However, since SUR does not perform live anymore and these are the only "decent" live recordings in existence, we decided to remix and remaster these tracks, making them as presentable as humanly possible with the recordings we had, and release them on Jamendo - perhaps, four years after they were recorded, also as a nostalgic glance at the rearview mirror. Yep, these recordings contain mistakes, poorly performed passages and blunders committed by any and all band members, as well as pesky random noise here and there, but it is what it is. :)

Most of the tracks on the "aLiVE in 2005" album are live versions of the material released on the 2004 "physical" release "Na jug", also available for download here. Jure Praper's instrumental composition "Eqsqueezeme" has not been released anywhere else and this is its only useful recording. The studio version of the live track "Ples vampirjev" later appeared on the 2007 "physical" release "Druga stran", also published on Jamendo.
