the art of destroying and re-arranging

this album was made by destroying some old (far beyond 10 years)

tracks of a band i worked with for years (TROUBADIX, me

playing bass-guitar and doin' some drumprogramming).

cutting them into pieces, manipulating the fragments,

re-arranging the whole thing to a new track.

the quality is terrible but the sound and the idea was well worth the download, reminded me of some industrial/noise acts i'd been in with cassette tape recorded over 100 times.

Ah, there IS an album.... nice heavy industrial stuff with einstürzende Sunn O))) references. Great mood again, dark, deep. The complaints over the soundquality can be overcome by turning up the volume. For mastering purposes i can recommend Soundforge with the Waves plugins, but I quite like the raw production here.. brains are reset...

this work is great, thick and hypnotic as hell. but i don't feel to give it a full 10/10. because i'm enjoying it so much that i think it deserves to be cleaned up from all that clipping and hiss*. once purified from this unwanted imperfections this will be truly a master piece for me. congratulations! * to remove clipping and hiss try "cool edit pro" from "adobe", it works great and its relatively easy to use...
