Acoustic guitar music with passion, creativity and most of all style, grace and elegance, to make this hypnotic, mesmerising-ly, perfect, atmospheric-al, compelling, enjoyable, amazing, album with great use of instrumental, drums and the good old acoustic guitar, as mentioned above on my opening line. A must check out album if you love to hear great music that is fresh, clean and inviting to your heart, soul and mind...

This album is loaded to the brim with lively, happy, excellent acoustic guitar music. Matt Stevens has some wonderful and outstanding talent. I think the album was very consistent in quality and appeal and all the pieces are equally enjoyable. He has some great mixes of instrumental variety with his guitar work which adds quite a nice depth to his tunes. I hope to hear more from this artist. This is a standout album and deserves a close listen especially by all the guitar aficionados out there.

Echo is certainly an album that can be regarded as pioneering. Having listened to it so many times, the intelligence behind the music stays intact, with still the odd surprise. Matt has found a way to use the cross-over jazz sound, but making it appeal to anyone possibly interested in rock, blues, folk or instrumental guitar. Airships and Burning Bandstands the winners here.
