Feisty, ambitious, drumnbass, electronic, synthesizer, music, that really does make you feel like you are a big metropolis, city like London. And hearing the sounds and voices of the passing people in the streets and hearing their chatter as they pass in this masses in this multicultural, diverse big city like this..excellent sharp, dynamic, powerful, electro-beats, blasting, teasing and pleasing as it goes straight into your ears and heart..

Well produced, lacking in soul

All the elements are there, and you can tell a lot of time has been spent fusing them together. What I found lacking was some kind of kick, soul, a hook: something in each of the tracks to stand out and stay with you. As it is, they'd probably work best as background for a fast-paced game and not so much as focus for intensive listening. Incidentally, the theming also works for such purpose, though a single theme throughout an album is always pleasing IMO, whatever the purpose.

Why should I care for the men of Thames

The architecture of this album is bold and surprising yet prosaic, the latter being not a defect (rather the opposite).Adopting an ultramodernistic style, Angus shows his entire professional side, paying a tribute to a town whose electricity coverage, even today, is a too small blanket for too many people, shows his provincial side. Some things have to be left to Britons, above all the advertising of their capital city's tourist office. To that title and the local geographic references given in its lineup, this too good an album Ugh! Gh! "London Beat" is wasted.
