Here's an excellent rock album, that delivers a great listening satisfaction, on the account of some good musical appointments, either at the vocal or instrumental level. Although not immediately dazzling, its consistent quality, maintains the interest throughout the work, providing a great listening experience.

This is another early set of music from Tequila Mockingbird that gave me pause. As much as I have played and replayed "Luck and Trouble" this eluded me. My bad. Now that I've had a chance to listen to it, I'm still amazed how Wendy Clark can go from one extreme to the other and have such conviction in the lyrics. From the blatant kick-in-the-nutz style of "Dysfunctional" to the softer "Shades of Grey" and over to the road house band sound with "The Honeymoon!" Again, the band members keep each other going, knowing their place. The guitar work is a bit more pronounced with this collection, and all solos fit with the piece. This may be a local band in the Denver area, but with each set they improve more and more. Look out mainstream, there's a buzz coming - Tequila Mockingbird!
