Very Good Album, with Some Unnecessary Experimentation

"Sie können jetzt die wunden heilen" This track was very experimental, opening with natural mid frequency electrical noise. There was then a vocal conversation running alongside a timely strummed guitar riff. The conversation was disturbed and move around my head from left to right and visa-versa. Nice idea, but I don't think it worked very well. I think the length of the piece was about right. After a minute of this, it was getting quite annoying.
"Bagdag - System" was a more traditionally rooted piece, which had a functioning rhythm, very good harmonies and had a much more structured arrangement than the previous track. This piece though experimental, held up a well structured rhythm and the guitars were great. Beautifully produced track apart from the end of the sixth minute to the end of the piece which lead into a bit a noise weirdness that I really don't think was necessary.
"It comes with the silence" was again a piece based on a more traditional and structured style. Excellent entry to the track with a punching bass/electric guitar format. The vocal harmonies are again well constructed synchronise to perfection with the lead vocals. The 2nd minute of the track opened a well placed, well timed and well executed bridge. This pulled the pace down, introduced some more great vocal harmonies and lead to the track playing out to a few basic but well played riffs.
Some wonderful vocal harmonies ooze from these tracks. There is also much use the guitar effects that blend into and becomes nearly hidden into these pieces. I felt much more at home with the more traditional styles on this album and felt that this is where the strengths really are. The deep experimental areas were a distraction from what was some very good music often accompanied by stunning vocal harmonies.
