Good Guitar combinations in "All These Things Which Appear", but the playing sounded off key every now and then. Good guitar work on "Dual Infinity", though I felt the guitar in the right channel often was playing something different to the left. "Imperfect Night" had a good intro and a nice all round mix with guitars held more central and less channel separation. The instruments played and harmonised very well. The theme was carried very well with the minimum number of instruments on offer here. "Is There Anybody Behind" had very nicely played guitars with a lazy underlying drum which woke up every now and then. Now a very smooth rock/blues style came with "Makes A Choice" which brought more lively percussions and beautiful guitars. A nice arrangemet and style. "Nothing Slide Like Empty Soul" was a difficult one. The left channel seems sadder than right but they were often contridictory and competing sounds. It did mess with my head a bit and I may have to listen to this one again before forming an opinion. "Psychoactive Drug" carried a haunting but nice sound with the low pitch drone emphasizing the mood. Could have done more to continue this though. "Sweet Heavy Moment" is something a bit different from the rest. Background chatter, a mid paced drumbeat and a more strum-like feel to the guitar play. The lead guitar then completes the piece as it goes into the usual electronic crying break. "The Journey" is quite different from the rest of the album. A lot more subtleties are present and the melodies flit from one to the other with the interruption of strummed chords. The music is fairly varied and gets quite intense but I don't feel it's enough to fill the 14 minutes. I was beginning to wane after about 8 minutes. "Too Much Noise Around" was a lovely bit of blues guitar playing with a slow ticking drum to bring out a slight Jazz feel. Very cool and soothing. "Walking Under Storm Before The Silence" was beautiful, beautifully played and arranged. Guitars in perfect harmony, pace and style. A wonderful combination wonderfully put together. There was enough good music here to fill the 8 minutes with more to spare. I understand that the theme of the album was guitars, but I felt that some tracks felt unfinished because the guitars available just didn't fill the space. Although the guitar playing was excellent, sometimes that just wasn't enough. An instrument or two or vocals here or there or percussion would have added the final touches that some of these pieces needed. However, there was some fine and sometimes stunning guitar playing and some very good arrangements and production here. The harmonising of the guitars was often done superbly and held up when it mattered. Just great guitar and impressive playing. A great template for guitarist and a good album.

Although I felt a little confused with some parts it was a good idea to make an album recorded only with guitars (and few drums) but I think you could have explored the percusive potential of guitar to fill the songs... There are good moments in "Perfect Night", "Nothing Slide Like Empty Soul" and anothe that I can´t remember the title... Overall, it´s a rwally enjoyable album Thanks for sharing!
