Alfonso Tregua brings us a well produced minimalism album. The tracks are nice and slow, they have great rhythm. But they are too light. Probably a little more zip in the tunes would have completely immersed me in the melodies. The music often reminds me of late 70's, and I am a fan of the music of that era. Still, this album fails to completely impress me. In my view, a little more attention to recording may help you :) All in all a good listen on a nice rainy evening with a cup of Darjeeling tea and some 'pakoras'! -Mudit

Love the graphics straight away and the match with the music is perfect. Epigono is a mild intro, then onto Valzerino with a traditional organ/drum configuration, overlaid with synthetic melody. Very mellow and relaxed throughout in its expression and production. I agree with the other review in terms of that extra buzz, but I personally listen to this type of music simply for when my mood suits, you know what you're going to get and can rely on each track to deliver its goods. I only differ in the idea of reflecting on the seventies and I think that's what is (perhaps) sought for is a bit more experimentalism, which was very seventies. That's the only part of the genre listing I would disagree with, its more simply formulaic minimalist. For instance, I prefer Assam, it's just the way it is. :-)

...ultimo giorno di bronchite...da domani rientro al lavoro...e siccome non tutto il male vien per nuocere mi posso permettere di ascoltare con calma anche quest'ultimo lavoro di Tregua. il mio parere è strettamente personale,e possibile di errori,la prima impressione è che sia un album di transizione...c'è un apertura verso nuovi suoni e nuove sequenze armoniche con l'inserimento di elementi ritmici.....però è come se lasciasse un senso di un "divenire" che ancora non si è compiuto...il respiro naif si è un pò perso...ma le composizioni hanno più "peso"...bellissime Valzerino,Alveoli e Prime luci...conservano qualcosa di speciale,forse la leggerezza?10+ bravo

'Arca Sonora - Un sottile lampo viola', is a 9 track, Instrumental, Neo-Classical, Electonica-Ambient(Minimal) album. The "Electronica" in this album is literally at a minimum. A Single, Sustained Note might persist throughout an entire song while an equally Spare Harmony accompanies. The Instrumental voice may be Electric organ or Synth Keyboard. Acoustic Voices such as Piano are also featured in a similar manner. Track #3. 'Inno(Part1)', uses Piano and Flute to create a Gentle Melody. Track #5. 'Voce Umana(Intro)', has a "Space Age" Sound as it was Imagined in the Past(late 60-early 1970s, Science Fiction/ Movies). A particularly original method of employing Synthesizer is prominent in this work. Track #6. 'Unione", has, perhaps, the Richest Sound in the album via the use of Simple Woodwinds including Harmonica. Track #7. 'Voce Umana(Outro)', with its Electric Organ and Synth Keyboard is the Quintessential Update of a 1950s Horror Film Sound and is Exceptionally Well Performed. If you like Experimental and Avant Guarde works--this collection will be right up your alley.

Un album molto armonioso nella sperimentazione musicale minimale di questo artista. Tutti i brani sono molto interessanti ed è possibile ascoltarli molte volte percependo una dimensione che apre la mente al lampo dell'intuizione. Il titolo dell'album non poteva essere migliore. Infatti, io trovo questi brani molto potenti per lasciare attraversare la mente dall'intuizione ma anche dalla telepatia che è una sua conseguenza. Può sembrare strano quanto scrivo ma sono convinto di questo per averlo vissuto in prima persona. La mia mente, infatti, ascoltando questi brani ne è rimasta incantata e sospinta verso l'intuizione... mi sono tornati alla mente ricordi di esperienze telepatiche vissute in passato. A parte questo, i brani hanno molta bellezza nei movimenti melodici con variazioni che spesso sorprendono. In questo album c'è l'attesa dell'alba, il piacere della sera, la condivisione, il risveglio, il piacere della solitudine.... e tante altre emozioni. All the songs are very interesting. You can listen many times and perceive a dimension that opens the mind to the flash of insight. The title could not be better. Indeed, I find these songs very powerful to leave through the mind by intuition, but also by telepathy that is a consequence. It may seem strange what I write but I am convinced of this for having lived in the first person. My mind listening to these songs remained enchanted... I returned to mind memories of telepathic experiences in the past. Apart from this, the songs are very beautiful movements with melodic variations that often surprising. This album is the long awaited dawn, the pleasure of the evening, sharing, the awakening, the pleasure of solitude .... and many other emotions.
