Recorded and mixed by the band themselves, they wanted to keep in with their DIY ethics and make the kind of music they wanted to make without the outside pressures, hassle and money worries. Mixing together all their different tastes in music, 'Stars Of Our Own Lives' mixes emotive rock recalling bands like Wedding Present and Sonic Youth mixing it with quirky upbeat crunchy chords a la early Weezer.
