OK I have to admit I have a soft spot for music that has that tinkly winkly melodic lines coupled with heavy undertones. So "Dark" fits the bill for me. It's a combo of Eric Satie and Megadeath that's perfect for a stroll along the Champs-Élysées with your 1987 JVC boombox on volume 11. Arrangements are compelling and dramatic, and the tension builds appropriately ... "123" is a good example of that. These first two tracks are absolutely outstanding. The remainder of the album covers a fusion of styles that might work for some, but I found it didn't carry the dramatic punch of the beginning. "Ep&HI" is your basic dubstep scary stomp stomp stomp stuff. No problem with that though those snares are so in your face! "Output" has that psy trance feel, but departs towards a kind of IDM'ish staccato. "Ep", is sort of a techno/garage hybrid. All in all an a very good job.
