The Postmen are a geneva-based group consisting of four musicians who's ages range from 18 to 22 years old. Their compositions offer a variety of melodies in a Pop-Folk style. Largely influenced by music from the 60's and 70's (The beatles, The Mamas and the Papas, Crosby Stills and Nash, The Beach Boys, etc.) but also by more contemporary artists (Coldplay, Matt Costa, Jack Johnson), they make vocal harmonies one of the main foundations of their compositions.

Since their debut in 2008, they took part in over fourty concerts, including the Undertown, the Box and even the Vernier sur Rock music festival's launch contest where they finished second on eighty other registered groups. After a demo CD in 2010, they are releasing their first self-produced LP 'Desert of Joy' in april 2012

Laurent Zito - Chant, Guitare, Harmonica
Julien Henchoz - Chant, Guitare, Basse, Piano, Percussions

This is a really great album. The rhythm is very easy to follow, and very steady. The guitar is well played, and the cello adds a unique flair. The vocals are well crafted, well harmonized, and pleasing to the ear. I like it!

Wow - this male singer has a gorgeous voice!! And with the wonderful acoustic guitar strumming, excellent cello, melodies, and lyrics this group should fly pretty high . . . I think their presence would be wonderful to experience live. "December" - with the gorgeous!! cello streaming into my ears and melting my heart including the beautiful lyrics, vocal . . . this extra special folk song became one of my favorites. But, that is not to negate the influence on my mood that the other songs had . . . I can't get over how extra beautiful that voice is . . . very soothing and like warm honey brings sunny gold into every song. . . Just listen to his expressive vocalizations in "Stolen Thief" with a nice lilt and perfect emotion . . . hmmm, I just loved it! I am expecting this pop/folk album to stretch up the charts on Jamendo . . . and become quite popular as other singers have become . . . M^^W PEACE
