The haunting, sounds of the violin or cello are the souls of the forgotten whaling out in pain.They suffer at the hands of the chosen one. The ruler over them. In the darkest pits, in the dark part of hell, they survive. No one hears their cries, no one knows their there. Purgatory is for the sinful. Purgatory is hell. Exceptional soundscape of eerie, spooky music that really makes your whole body tingle and sets your mind on fire. Listen and the images start to take form in your minds eye.. You see what devilish, hellish things go on in the land of the sinful.

I love this album!! I am going to burn this to a CD and play it on repeat all night and see what dreams it induces. If I had one complaint, it would be that it is too short. More, PLEASE!!!

This music makes me feel like I am teetering on the edge of a dream I'd rather not dream ... and then waking up... walking on the rim of the unknown. I absolutely love this whole album. Great work.

it seems that theremin music should be easy, not easy to play, but to evoke a certain mood - a mood of haunting, alien thought, a kind of "singing of the machine". most uses of it, past a certain historical point where it was used primarily, (and, until now, most relevantly and poignantly), as a soundtrack for sci-fi films. this meczup has produced an entire album of beautiful, very human music, flowing with an eerie sense that the theremin is now just another instrument, but one that hasn't lost any of it's capacity to evoke feeling. yet, the player has expanded the language here a bit, with an instrument as seemingly limited as the theremin, it's use proved well beyond mere novelty, while evoking something of the theremin's sound-from-somewhere-sometime-else.
