Reviews for "NEARLY BLUES"

"HOW THAT LADY COULD LIE" Great Blues guitar entry with soothing Blues vocals which was a little deep but mainly a little sad. The slow pace delivered by the percussion was ideal, bringing with it much mood with a bit of melancholia.
"SITTING HERE BLUES" Oh, yes, this was good old Blues. Full flavoured Blues that bounced on the percussion and subtle underground riff. Again, good vocals wrapping up the whole sound. I would have replaced the keyboard work toward the end with a piano, but that's just me.
"EVERYDAY PEOPLE BLUES" The soft piercing electric guitar delivered a light tremolo effect that ran over the percussion and low 4 beat Blues riff. The soothing sound had a standard 50s Blues edge to it. This was enhanced by the soft male vocals. The sound level could have done with a boost though.
There were good vocals, good lyrics in a Blues filled collection that had a very good sound and I thought it delivered a feel of the more traditional style of Blues that's been buried for too long. A good all round sound and good to see the resurrection.
Excellent. Une guitare qui ne frime pas, une voix aux modulations parfaites. Merci à Frezi d'avoir attiré mon attention sur cet artiste.
This guys got it all. good strong, bewitching charismatic, energy, heartfelt deep meaningful voice. And good poetic, catchy, cool lyrics. And nice mellow downtempo but lightly stimulating music. That rounds it all of nicely.
Don't think so ;) Their blues is as good as their rock and country. Thanks!!!
And I have to say something about COVERS - they are simply beutiful. Such breath-taking views!
3 pistes, 3 excellents pistes que je suis heureux d'avoir téléchargé :)
A lyrically strong album built around some well done slow blues
