About this album

  • Updated: 29/06/2010

This album is a collection of original songs written and performed by Macroform. The songs are not polished or overproduced. It was the goal to try to just get a live, up close feeling without getting to complicated. Low key expressions. Below is a list of the instruments used for the individual tracks. Please be sure to comment. If any of these songs move you in any way or facilitate thoughts, let me know. Feedback is important to me. Blessings. - Macroform.

I am really enjoying listening to these instrumentals. The playing is restrained but reaches out and connects --if instrumentals can be called optimistic and hopeful, then that is what these are. I was feeling down--the music turned that right around and put me in a good mood. Good job. Dr. T of the Art Punk Band

Hello Mr. Macroform/Troy great music. I am not good in describing moods - but melancholic and romantic are two words I am thinking of while listening. My favorite, Memories of Energy, adds some lonelyless/sadness. And if I have a wish - play this during dinner with my girlfried: the location should be a special beach in Italy :-) Greetings!

Well played acoustic guitar with a backup composed of an eclectic group of instruments . . which the artist mentions for each song in detail . . . and I really liked that . .. knowing that all these songs were created using real instruments . . . and knowing what I was listening to . . it gave me a little visual perception of a group on a stage somewhere .. .. calmly, serenely playing their music . . although I think this artist played all his instruments alone . . . a one man band . . Not only that . . these were all moving and really quite beautiful in a peaceful way . . These were relaxed rock tunes . . . a little jazzy sometimes and always beautiful! And just a note: when "Dad" composes a song which is introduced by a Fischer Price toy piano . . . then my heart melts . . .
