Urban Dreams
Well, it's taken long enough, and so, almost one year after "Moving Off Ground", here it is: the fourth Chill Carrier album. :-)
Due to several circumstances it turned out to be different from its predecessors. Even before I started to work on the very first song (which has been "Dawn At The Station") I wanted its atmosphere to catch big-city dreams, dreams of peaceful silence, desires for ways out of loneliness and anonymosity, even to be a bit melancholic at times, as well as scenes you will only experience in large cities - the contrast between speed, noisy places and then again inner peace, the beauty of light in the darkness, hopes, dreams - urban dreams.
I was highly inspired by movies like "Lost In Translation" , which, in some way, happen to transport just that big deal of differences. That's when I knew someday I'd have to make an album just like this one.
So what you will find on "Urban Dreams" are also songs which might not seem to fit into the whole at their beginning, like "The Night I Met You" ...meeting this special someone in a downtown club somehow just needed some harsh dancebeats introducing my urban dream of it. ;)
Again I would like to thank each and every one of you for your wonderful support, it's always great to hear from you and I'm grateful for every feedback or even donations, I'm always amazed, thank you!

It starts with you sitting on a train, in the middle of Tokyo city, and you hear, the sounds of life and the train in your mind. And then the warmth, of the lovely, hypnotic, graceful flowing, downtempo, lounge, drumnbass,ambient, music, start to ooze and penetrate your mind and body.. And the world is left outside, your thoughts and being. And you enter a blissfully, comforting, warm, cozy, world of truly, utterly bewitching,compelling, soothing, heavenly, chill out zone, soundscapes.. That cover you in golden showers of peace,grace and happiness. That is great for mind, body and soul. And leaves you feeling renewed, refreshed and in great spirits, during and after.
