About this album

Tibet, Japan, Scotland, India, Korea, France, Central America : this album ivites us to a voyage. However, it is a time voyage to reunite past and future, rather than a voyage in space.

Various voices samples appear like islands on the waves of electro variations. Some of the ethnic samples are by SampleHeads and belong to the Roland SRX 09 world collection. Others were recorded live by mmb. They give their human scale to the music.

Traditional sounds are emulated through realistic multisampling by Roland. Their rich ethnic textures, bagpipes, sitar and yueshin, are blended with the virtual analogue modelling synthesis of the electro variations.

And the famous "madeleine" text in French by Marcel Proust (1913, in the public domain) said by mmb gives us a hint : the cenesthesic memory enables us to travel from the present and through the past.

un bel exemple de petard mouillé... ca demarre fort mais ca ne décolle pas.

l'intro du décollage d'avion j'aime, le voyage commence.. Départ pour le voyage mystique de marc michel, chant de sitar. La madeleine de proust ( À la recherche du temps perdu. Du côté de chez Swann, 1913.) revit en musique grace a toi, de plus une voix a conté des histoires tu veut pas passer chez moi pour raconté des histoires a mon fils ? un, dos, tres est assez spécial a entendre ton album est bon, c'est un voyage autour du monde en revant de féérie.
