Desert Flower starts off as a minimalistic ambient piano piece but grows gradually into a full-blown instrumental with world music and even jazz elements. The song was partially inspired by Sherry Horman’s 2009 movie Desert Flower.

Apart from being more technical (which I hardly can), there's only the obvious for me to say about this track: it's a beautiful conception with a beautiful execution. A flower in the desert and a very beautiful one.

This piece starts out with a sweet upbeat piano, and sparkling tunes follow, lifting the mood of the listener. As time goes on more instruments, a guitar solo, a jazzy line, a full production . . . creating anticipation, vision . . . A full canvas is painted, a story is created within the soul of the music, deep in nuances, deep in passion, a loving melody, inspirational and full of hope. This is a visionary creation, with so many aspects, yet not overwhelming but so perfectly beautiful.

Is strong, pure and graceful sublime. sweet and full of character..determined and deeply heartfelt and aura filled.. gradually growing in confidants and stature..surreal, majestic, loving and compassionate, dream and elegantly celestial piano, worldly,instrumental,newage,ambient,electronic, minimal music. That will inspire, make you truly feel and glow inside..With such heavenly feels of remarkable contentment and happiness that will fill you and resonate all day long inside you. With a particular excellent electric guitar ballad and solo in amongst this and the touch with the saxophone at the end.. outstandingly magnificent music....That is lightly stimulating, haunting and meaningful romance and savouring fulfilling. C'est avec grand plaisir que je retrouve une nouvelle production du Doc :)
Cette fois-ci il laisse les manettes à Lena Selyanina, ce qui donne une sonorité différente, mais le plaisir d'écoute est bien là.
Merci pour cette jolie collaboration artistique, en attendant un album... peut-être ;)
