The Christmas Bells CD blends virtual analogue modelling synthesis with the crystal clear realistic multisampling of bell sounds by Roland (SRX/XV series). The warm rendering of an analogue mix on mmb’s Fostex 350 vintage mixer has preserved the emotion of this music composed, produced and performed amid the atmosphere of Christmas. The album ends with homage to Gabriel, Marc’s regretted uncle. “I hope this music composed with the loving kindness sounds of bells in the ambiance of Christmas time will rejoice, soothe and appease, as a recollection of Xmas agape… This CD is dedicated in memoriam Gabriel, with a special attention to his kind wife, children and grand-children who are still missing him very much.”
