Mesmerizingly good sweet, wholesome, loving heartfelt, passionate, strong vocals. That sing and captivate and bewitching your heart and soul. And lift your spirit and holds it nicely within their hand through out this album. Just relax enjoy and savour this traditional Senegal songs. Accompanied by the acoustic guitar as they sing.

Sensitive incredible recordings so wonderfully performed, each track soft-edged and nostalgic.Seck's voice is rich and elegant never more so brilliant than in "touba bamba" a sleek and powerful praise of the legendary Cheikh Ahmadou Bamba Mbacké who led a pacifist struggle against French colonialism and is arguably the greatest spiritual leader in Senegalese history.I found myself transfixed by these songs and the whole album's exuberance and freedom is an adulation of musical talent.WONDERFUL !!

maybe not vintage picked out of free choice, but nevertheless: it's simple, it works. Was a sceptic during the first song and a smaller when the second rang out. The second go of the whole album was a yeahyeah. Why comparing this to a fully mechanized rock album?? These are two different worlds.. but they meet in my head.

Wonderful . . .I found these Senegalese songs accompanied by the guitar to be so very delightful. The tunes were warm and welcoming with wonderful vocals. The music is something nice to listen to while reflecting on the diversity and wonders of our treasured and beautiful world . . . What a joy to find this musician on Jamendo . . . thank you for sharing. o0o
