My favorite time of life is when I am safely dreaming whether sleeping or awake and music like this puts me there: I follow the notes of the piano like stair steps to the unknown created in heavenly grace and filled with ease.. .. .. endowed with love and expectations I rise higher and higher until I realize I have wings. and I am loosed to fly in freedom and contentment and I dream . . .

Lena Selyanina's exquisite, refined, fine, passionate playing of her brilliant compositions... her music moves me in deep and deeply imaginal ways - in my heart and in the ways that open vistas of our imaginations. I'm on my way to Pushkin's story, but first, Lena, to say how beautiful these pieces are, in their tender delicate strength, your fingers caressing and racing over the keyboard, and to thank you for sharing. - Later... what a great story! And by the end, I was laughing. Yes, the humour of the co-incidence and fated-ness of this love is in 'Snowstorm Romance,' an undertone as delicate as a snowflake.

This wonderfully written album reminds of Debussy. I could just sit back,listen, dream and imagine things. Love the album cover also.. almost ' Doctor Shivago' lie. Thank you.

Une suite de musiques délicates et vingt minutes de vrai bonheur. Comme d'habitude avec Lena le doigté est léger, délicat, paraissant fragile et pourtant si précis. Les mélodies sont mystérieuses et nous portent à la rêverie. De ce côté August Song (que j'écoute là en Octobre) est délicieux. Un petit album remplit de douceur et de sereinité. Paisible ( de Paix) aussi. La tempête de neige qui a introduit l'album et le clôture est plus furieux, mais même comme cela la musique reste légère et les mélodies qui suivent nous ramènent à cette douceur. Pour tout dire, la tempête de neige la plus agréable que je connaisse. Comme l'a ecrit Alain Sam c'est un oeuvre. Un petit bijoux , à l'opposé du bruit aliénant. Merci Lena pour ce cadeau.
