About this album
This music was created mostly while experimenting with some new equipment. Both parts of RMite were inspired by Yamaha RM1x; I was so amazed with its usability, that I wanted to quickly record something with this box (I only had it for few days). Actually it turned out to be quite challenging to operate RM1x while playing other synths, since everything was recorded in one take. Syncatenation was in turn inspired by incredible possibilities of Novation KS5.
I wouldn't be able to create this music without the coninuous support (both material and spiritual) from my friend, Czajnik. Thanks, dude - your help really matters!

All three tunes were well composed. Once can only imagine trying to bounce from one to the other, and still keep the beat & mood going!
I can "hear" the influences of Tangerine Dream in some spots, with a touch of Alan Parson's Project in others, possibly Electric Light Orchestra in the first song. Whatever works - I like it!

Musique d'ambiances diverses( j'ai même cru déceler des sonorités arabisantes dans le deuxième morceau), très relaxante, sans complexe et qui invite au voyage et à la méditation.J'aime bien le troisième morceau.

These soundscapes just dissolved and melted and oozed inside my head. And gave of a beautiful buzz of peace, tranquility and grace. That was psychedelic, dreamy and chilled to perfection.

Tra molti lavori, pur belli, che qui è dato sentire, si nota spesso la mancanza di una nota di fondo, di un "quid" che renda il prodotto identificabile tra i molti altri che gli sono similari per genere.
In questo caso direi che il panorama generale in cui questa musica è inseribile è quello dell'Ambient (categoria vastissima, dalle mille sfumature), categoria che generalmente conduce all'uso e più spesso all'abuso dell'effetto sonoro, senz'altra giustificazione se non quella di affogare l'ascoltatore in un "piacere timbrico" non supportato poi da effettiva ricchezza d'idee musicali.
Così, a prima impressione, sarebbe difficile dire che brani di musica ambientale siano brutti; ma altrettanto spesso, purtroppo, è rarissimo trovarne di originali.
Quest'album invece s'imprime nella memoria. Se fosse un vino, direi che ha un retrogusto particolare: sarà per la ritmica, sarà per certi incisi che a tratti squarciano l'atmosfera ipnotica, sarà per qualche linea di basso vagamente jazzistica che appare qua e là.
Insomma un lavoro che -almeno a mio avviso- spicca a dispetto di una concorrenza numericamente forte e qualitativamente assai varia.
