It takes me back to my earliest influences - Hall & Oates, Neil Young, and The Beatles. The flipside song "Dark Soul, Let Go" attempts to banish doubts and fears. Thanks to everyone who helped make "Beautiful World" No.#1 for both the Jamendo albums and singles charts on the12th September 2010, and No.#1 single for the Month of October 2010.

What a gloriously beautiful song from Sean Wright. I am always impressed by the quality and quantity of his output, but this has taken me to another level of appreciation of this fine DIY artist. The heartfelt emotion in the vocals and the calm acosutic guitars make this a most pleasing and touching experience. Thanks for sharing your wonderful music, Sean.
Beautifully written Sean! I love the lyrics and simplicity of the voice and guitar (with a wee bit of drum) - sometimes it is the simple heartfelt songs that we remember the most. Truly beautiful my friend!!
Sean never ceases to amaze me. With his heartfelt honesty and passion, let alone pure love, for his art of great music and good, meaningful wholesome sincere lyrics. And that raw deep bewitching, yet compelling irresistible voice of his just captures the essence and the true meaning and beauty to me that most, if not all, musicians and singers let alone performers, feel within their own hearts and souls. That love and determination, let alone drive to give all they have for their love of their ,craft and what drives them to do what they love most sing, perform and make beauty music...Or a combination of them all. To spread joy, give joy and happiness towards others. And that in turn makes them happy.. Bravo Sean.. YOU SIMPLY DID IT AGAIN....
"Beautiful World" A soothing acoustic guitar backing strummed in the background to accompany some beautifully sung vocals. The acoustic solo was short and sweet. The length of the track was also just right and any longer could have induced boredom.
"Dark Soul, Let Go" More of the same acoustic background but with an electrically added twist through a vibrato filled riff. I almost missed the soft well timed percussion embedded in the piece.
A good listen, which I think has its beauty in the vocals, though the music is not ugly either.
What a great song! So much to love here - vocal performance, guitar playing, and the clever lyrics. I love the idea of the wind being a traveller with human characteristics. Reminds me in some ways of Neil Young and John Lennon!
